• Active Learning Methodologies - Active learning methodologies in higher education have been gaining increasing relevance in the contemporary educational landscape, largely due to advancements in the science of learning.
• Cibersecurity - Cybersecurity consists of a set of practices, technologies, and methodologies aimed at protecting systems, networks, and data against unauthorized access, cyberattacks, persistent threats, and security failures. Its central goal is to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information, especially in increasingly complex and interconnected digital environments.
• Digital Transformation - Digital Transformation is the application of digital technologies to change business models and create new value opportunities. It involves reimagining operations and customer experiences, promoting innovation and efficiency.
• Gamification - Gamification is a process that uses elements, techniques, and game design mechanics in contexts not related to games, aiming to increase user motivation, participation, and engagement. Gamification has been applied in various fields, such as education, marketing, health, and corporate training.
• Requirements Engineering - Requirements engineering (RE) is an interdisciplinary area of Software Engineering aimed at bridging the gap between the acquirer’s and the supplier’s or developer’s domains.
• Social Software - Research area involving the development and analysis of digital technologies (especially software) with the explicit goal of generating positive social impact, without profit-making or direct commercial exploitation. This approach is collaborative, interdisciplinary, and people-centered.
• Software Architecture - Software Architecture is a fundamental field in systems engineering involving the structural organization of software components, their interactions, and the guiding principles that define the design and evolution of systems. This area ensures the efficiency, scalability, and maintainability of software systems, directly impacting the quality and performance of applications.
• Teamwork and Soft Skills - The area of Teamwork and Soft Skills is an interdisciplinary field in project management and software development, emphasizing the importance of interpersonal and behavioral skills for the success of IT teams.

Professional Activities and Teaching

• Professor at UnB since 2011, contributing to undergraduate teaching in Software Engineering and, since 2020, to the Applied Computing graduate program.
• He has taught courses such as Software Requirements, Process Modeling, Software Configuration Management, and Introduction to Computer Science.
• He has also taught lato sensu graduate courses in Software Engineering at UCB, Business Management at FGV, and courses at UDF Centro Universitário.
• He has professional experience since 1999 in private organizations and in the federal government, working in software engineering projects as an analyst, project manager, and team coordinator, using RUP, agile approaches, CMMI, and MPS.Br.

Contributions and Acknowledgments

• Registration of the Doarti software at the Brazilian National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) (2020).
• Publication of the TPA questionnaire for assessing teamwork process antecedents in software development in the journal Empirical Software Engineering (2020).

• Evidentia Review - CEDIS project focused on planning, conducting, and reporting systematic literature reviews with traceability, collaboration, and reproducible reports.
• Software for Good - Software for Good (SpB) is a collective—a community of people and organizations, meanings, actions, solutions, feelings, and energies aligned to generate good through the use of software.
• Super-R - Educational project, part of the ‘Software Requirements’ course, an educational innovation developed by CEDIS at the University of Brasília.
