Tailored deploy: an undergraduate thesis automates individualized AgroMart deployments

If each community has to run its own AgroMart copy, deployment becomes the bottleneck. This is the bottleneck André Aben-Athar de Freitas and Pedro Vitor de Salles Cella went after in the undergraduate thesis defended in February 2023, under the advising of Prof. André Luiz Peron Martins Lanna .

The work automates individualized platform deployment — each CSA stands up its own tailored instance with minimal manual intervention — cutting the human cost of expansion and preventing adoption from stalling for lack of technical labor. It is the difference between a platform that “exists” and one that “scales” in the sense that matters: by community will, not by the presence of original authors.

The thesis speaks to Green Software — through its commitment to economical, sustainable solutions — and to digital transformation of family farming. It is another chapter in the AgroMart saga, a project that crosses cohorts while preserving identity at every new iteration.

The full text — written in Portuguese — is available at the UnB Undergraduate Theses Digital Library.
