AgroMart reaches publication: a duo integrates and connects the app to end users
Christian Fleury Alencar Siqueira and Thiago Siqueira Gomes defended at FCTE/UnB an undergraduate thesis crossing AgroMart’s last mile: integrating modules, tuning deployment, and publishing the app for public use.

The last mile of any software project is the cheapest to describe and the most expensive to travel. This is the mile Christian Fleury Alencar Siqueira and Thiago Siqueira Gomes crossed in the undergraduate thesis defended in September 2024, under the advising of Prof. André Luiz Peron Martins Lanna .
The work gathers modules developed across several AgroMart generations, resolves friction points between them, and brings the platform to the state required for publication — the moment when software stops being an academic project and turns into a product capable of sustaining real use. The duo handles integration, deployment adjustments, and final testing, delivering an AgroMart that, for the first time, reaches its intended audience without passing through a technical intermediary.
By tying software architecture with digital transformation focused on social impact, the thesis fulfills an old promise of the project: bringing to the small farmer a tool that responds to their problems, not to those of its builders.
