UnB’s Gama Campus gathers engineering programs and a student community whose routine demands double attention — academic performance and emotional care. The undergraduate thesis defended in July 2025 by Delziron Braz de Lima and Fellipe Pereira da Costa Silva proposes a specific piece of that care: an app supporting students’ mental health and well-being, under the advising of Prof. George Marsicano Corrêa .

The work departs from a diagnosis of the university environment itself: emotional difficulties coexist with fragile interpersonal relationships, performance strain, and distance from available support services. The duo designs a solution that does not replace professional care — an unrealistic aim — but occupies the middle band between problem awareness and appropriate referral: organized information, self-knowledge tools, risk indicators, and clear paths to seek help.

By tying active learning with concrete HCI concerns aimed at a sensitive audience, the thesis delivers a useful product to the local academic community — and an illustrated case for other universities to think through their own arrangements.
