Without an embedded payment method, a direct-trade platform demands too much trust in a WhatsApp+Pix workflow negotiated outside the app. This friction is what Felipe Boccardi Silva Agustini and Giovanna Borges Bottino tackled in the undergraduate thesis defended in July 2023, under the advising of Prof. André Luiz Peron Martins Lanna , delivering to AgroMart what was missing to complete end-to-end transactions.

Beyond integration itself, the work took on evolutionary maintenance of the project — part of the silent bill every living piece of software charges as it gains users. Necessary refactoring, inherited-bug fixes, and dependency updates fall within the thesis scope, attesting to the maturity the platform reached after several generations of contributions.

By articulating software architecture with digital transformation in a project with social impact, the duo helps consolidate AgroMart as a teaching case of software that survives times and maintainers without losing identity.
